Default how many trips does a exterminator make to get rid of cockroaches?

I moved into my parents old mobile home, its was full of leaks. I need to get the bathroom and shower leaks fixed. I only saw a few bugs in the month I lived here. So I called the bug guy . Its been 9 days since he treated the house.. I see 3 times as many now all sizes. The bug guy is coming back monday. The guy said it wasnt too bad but why are there more? I clean and clean and there is still the rotten floors fromt he previous leaks. I cant get people in here till i get rid of the bugs to fix the floors.no way I can seal every crack. My parents used boric acid all sprays and traps. The bug guy used gel bait. Its making me mentally sick...I cant move thats not a option plus I dont want to take them with me. Am I just not being patient? The ex is fixing the leaks next week no more new leaks.

I once lived in an apartment in Orlando Florida that was infested with roaches. They sent out a bug guy who sprayed the apartment. Usually, I would only see the roaches scurrying away when I turned on a light in the middle of the night. Over the next few days, I would see a lot of them out and about during the day. So, I called the management again.

When I mentioned this to the bug guy (same guy), he said that was strange, because roaches only come out at night, unless they're sick (like from bug spray). He said this was probably happening, because the roaches were still trying to come up in the sprayed area, and the residual poison was slowly killing them.

So, if you have a bad infestation, it's possible that you'll see more roaches - particularly during the day or with the lights on - because they're so sick from the poison that they don't know to stay out of the light.

the bait is drawing the roaches in hiding out into the open. There is a saying that there are 1,000 roaches hiding for every roach you see. Baits are never 100% effective. Sprays are 100% effective if applied right.

It normally takes only two visits to get rid of roaches. The initial treatment to kill all the roaches in the house at that time and two weeks later a second treatment to kill all the roaches that hatched from the eggs in the house after the first treatment.
