My floors were water damaged and the floors were repaired by my contractor. Unfortunately, I found out that they repaired the damaged pieces with prefinished hardwood floors. Now I have prefinished cherry hardwood floors mixed with regular hardwood floors with a hi-gloss finish.

The prefinished flooring looks lighter than my hi-gloss flooring. Is there anyway that I can re-sand my hi-gloss floors and somehow re-stain them to match the prefinished floors?
