Get good heavy, secure doors if you don't have them already. Some burglers simply break the door rather than fiddle with locks.

According to my personal view cctv camera is best for home surveillance,just attach install some high quality camera for getting good result,Now there are some many option in the security systems I personally really like the cellular and self monitoring service for my home security.
so I think you should go with cctv camera systems and don't forget to install the smoke detector and motion sensor for window and door security.
