I'm going to roll my lawn this saturday - do i fertilize first then roll or roll...

It is an existing lawn that is TERRIBLY bumpy. was bad before the winter but with all the snow we got here in wisconsin it settled something terrible so would like to roll to make 'somewhat' more even. thank you.

I presume the lawn is new. In any case, especially if you are using a fertilizer with pre-emergent in it ( crabgrass preventer) I would roll first. Once you put down weed preventer you don't want to disrupt the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to allow opportunity for weed seedling to sprout.
