What should I use around my above ground pool to drain rain water away from the pool?

| I just had an above ground pool installed in my back yard, the installers had to level the pool 5" on one side. Now I have a lot of dirt, dead grass and sod that the installers left around my pool. The installers told me not to use the dirt/grass/sod they left to back fill because it could have seed and I don't want anything growing near the walls of the pool. What would be the best thing for me to back fill around the pool so that it's level or even slops away from my pool, I don't want rain water to puddle around the pool. I wanted to use white rocks but do I need to put dirt or sand under them first? |
