Default Black spots

I would like to know if there is a natural pesticide for black spots for
roses or do you need to use chemicals.

Regards.

Default Suggestions for Black Spot

Black Spot can be mitigated in a few ways without the
use of chemicals.

1)Remove all affected leaves, but ensure some of the healthier
leaves remain on the plant. All healthy leaves retain.

I cycle through the roses I care for and pick leaves that are the worst,
then when there is new leaf growth, cycle through again to remove more.

2)Also mulching rose bedsinstead of bare soil, is said to reduce this problem.

3)If the soil has poor drainage this is "said" to contribute to black spot.

4)Aphids are known to also increase the level of black spot on roses, so
pest management may be necessary.

Hope this helps.

Default Update on point 4 from previous post

The black spots caused by Aphids is also referred to a sooty mould
it is caused by the honeydew dropped by the aphids.

This black spot/sooty mould type differs than the other aka. diplocarpon rosae.
