Default how to care for a tiny maple tree?



I recently found a very tiny maple tree in my flower garden. i moved it into a pot but i want to make sure i take care of it properly. what should i do for it?

you can make it a bonsai maple...you can find a better location for it to be replanted at....or you can just keep it watered and repot it every couple of years....

Maple trees are beautiful in pots. For now, do not fertilize it. Give it water when the soil is becoming a little dry. Make sure it drains well. Later it will need a large pot with a good potting soil.

Maples are very hardy and fast growing. I would set it out with something around it for protection. Once it is a couple feet tall, you won't need to bother with it unless it gets really dry.

I agree with sandra and Always you need to make sure that the tree is always wet.
