Coconuts may be planted at any time but warm and rainy summer are the best. Coconut tree grows well in a wide range of soil types Provided well drained, average temperature of 72`F and an annual rainfall of 40-60 inches. In home gardens it has to receive a full sun and water should be supplied weekly.
