Potato Garden - star if you like ...?

An old man had kept a potato garden with his son for many years but this year he was quite frail and his son had been arrested after being accused of murder. The old man was delirious with grief, without his potatoes he didn't know how he would make a living so he decided to write his son in prison and ask for advice.

Dear Son,

This year is going to be quite a bad year for me. I am too old and frail with arthritis to tend to the potato garden this year. The sun has caked the earth until it is as hard as a rock. I know that if you were here everything would be okay. But right now I don't know what I should do.

Your Father

the next week the father received a reply from his son,

Dad,

Whatever you do, don't dig up the potato garden, that's where I buried the bodies.

Love, Your son

A couple weeks passed and a team of FBI agents showed up and dug up the land looking for the bodies, after several days they left frustrated and with no more evidence than what they had come with. However the father had received this note.

Dad,

Go ahead and bury your potatoes, that's the best I could do from here.
