My Husband laid down this vinyl plank flooring in our hallway?

And where the door jams are the cuts were not perfect and the old tile underneath is showing? Is there any kind of material we can put there to fill it in so that it will look better? A quarter round will not work. He worked so hard and I hate to be nit picky but it looks like poop. any advice would be appreciated. thanks.
