Dianthus Brevicaulis

D. brevicaulis. A little Pink of compact growth, woody at the base, and with very short branches. The wealth of pink flowers is borne on short stems, and not a leaf is visible; at this time it is only about two inches high, and should be planted in crevices which the roots can penetrate. A native of the alpine region of the Taurus in Cilicia, and flowers from July to September.
